Hospice of Lancaster County is a team of professionals and volunteers specializing in the care and support of people and their families who are living with a life-limiting illness.

Hospice care is appropriate when the focus of care has shifted to comfort rather than cure, and is available to all residents of Lancaster County.

Community education is so important! Many people have heard the term "hospice care," but want to learn how Hospice of Lancaster County can help when a family member needs care.

One way your group can continue to be educated is to invite a Community Education Speaker to an upcoming meeting.

How do we schedule a speaker?

Simply click on the button below and fill out the appropriate information. Or you can print out the brochure above and mail it into us. We will then call you; or you may contact Hospice directly and ask to speak to a staff member in the Education Department.

How long is a typical presentation?

Usually about 20 to 30 minutes followed by plenty of oppurtunity for questions and answers. However, a program can be tailored to meet your particular time frame.

How much advance notice is required?

It is helpful to know one month before your program; however, special arrangements can be made.

Is there a fee involved?

Because of the amount of community support that Hospice of Lancaster County receives, we are able to offer Community Education at no charge. Should you wish to make a donation, your gift will support Hospice services for individuals with limited resources.
